After more than 18 years in education as a teacher and administrator, Sara L. Fitts answered a higher call to action on November 3, 1999. SLF Consulting was born of prayerful reflection, a strong commitment to her values and beliefs, and devotion to the continuous improvement of individuals, businesses, and organizations. Taking the transferable skills that served her so well in her previous career, SLF Consulting was forged and dedicated to motivation, mediation, and coaching.
Sara is a 1981 graduate of Meredith College with a B.S. in mathematics. She graduated in 1987 from George Mason University with a M.Ed. in administration and supervision.
Sara completed more than 116 hours of coach training through The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She has completed advanced training from Coachville and is currently enrolled in The Graduate School of Coaching. She has received formal training in personal, corporate, and business coaching. Sara has also received formal mediation training and receives training updates three times each year.
Sara is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Prince William County - Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce, Coachville, Virginia Mediation Network (VMN), Phi Delta Kappa International, and Trinity Episcopal Church.
